HBBA Training Academy Courses Terms & Conditions

We would like your booking with us to run as smoothly as possible. In order to provide a great level of service to all our clients and delegates, we have some terms and conditions that you will need to agree to when booking. These terms and conditions offer a level of protection to both you and our business.

The Booking & Confirmation Process
To make a booking (or to confirm a provisional booking) please use the booking system on our website.

Once this form is completed online, Kindly process your payment via BACS / by making a payment from your bank to our bank details on the form. Put your name as your reference. Once your payment is processed you will get a booking confirmation email, then your booking in then classed as a confirmed booking and the terms and conditions below apply. By completing this form, you are entering into a contract with us.
 Although your booking will be classed as confirmed on receipt of this form, your space(s) on the course you have selected will be provisional until payment has been received. 
Cancellation charges apply should you decide to cancel, whether or not payment has been received. All courses become non-transferable, cancel-able or refundable when there are 7 days or less to the course date.

Methods of Payment
Payment of the course fees must be made in advance and should be made at the time of placing a booking or immediately after receiving an invoice.

We reserve the right to not admit your entry on the course, unless payment has been made.
All payments quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated, which is applicable at the standard rate.

Cancellation – Face to Face Courses & Online Courses
Once an invoice has been raised and sent, this will become payable under all circumstances. To ensure a consistent
service is provided to all, this is non-negotiable.

Cancellation fees will apply once the booking has been processed.

  • Bookings can only be cancelled – More than 7 days from the start of a course by contacting 07824 554615 or emailing admin@hbba.org.uk
  •  Cancellations with 7 days or less of the training start date will be charged the full course fee.
  • Cancellations more than 7 days in advance of the course will incur no charge.
  • Any bookings made within 7 days of the start of the course cannot be refundable if cancelled.
  • No shows on the day without any notice will be classed as cancelling on the day.
Cancellation – Online Courses

Delegate Submission
It is not possible to substitute an alternative delegate on any place booked.

Course Transfer – Face to Face Courses & Online Courses
A confirmed booking may be transferred to another of HBBA Training Ltd.’s courses, availability permitting,
providing that there is more that 7 days before the course date and the new course takes place within 2 months of
the date originally booked. HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD is not obliged to ensure suitable alternatives are
available.

Requests to transfer should be made by email.
  • Transfers are not permitted within 7 days or less of the training course start date
  • Transfers made within 15 – 20 days of the training start date will be charged 25% of the course fee.
  • Transfers made within 21 – 30 days of the training start date will be charged 15% of the course fee.
Any such fees due will revert to a cancellation fee in respect of the original booking if the transferred booking is
subsequently cancelled.

A booking can only be transferred on one occasion. Subsequent transfers will be treated as cancellations.
Course Content and Programme Schedule
HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD reserves the right to alter the advertised schedule of courses, which may include cancellation of a course.

All advertised programmes require a minimum number of bookings to be placed on each course. Where this number is not reached, we may choose to cancel the course. Where HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD cancels a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered alternative dates. If none can be provided, then a
full refund will be given. If we need to cancel a course, then 7 days’ notice will be provided.

HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD reserves the right to alter or amend the advertised content of any course without notice in order to continuously provide a high-quality service or due to circumstances beyond our control.

HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD reserve the right to change the venue from that originally advertised by providing 7 days’ notice.

HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule including cancellation.

Acceptable Use of Facilities
In placing a booking, you agree to abide by HBBA Training Ltd.’s Acceptable Use Policy relating to the use of HBBA
Training Ltd.’s facilities. This policy requires the following:

  • None of HBBA Training Ltd.’s facilities may be used to locate, display or transmit any material which is illegal
  • or offensive.
  • No software may be downloaded or installed on any of HBBA Training Ltd.’s computing equipment unless under the explicit direction of the HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD Trainer,
  • No data may be imported which has not been checked for viruses and which is not under the explicit direction of the HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD Trainer,
  • No food and drink may be brought into the training rooms.

Smoking
HBBA Training Ltd.’s premises are non-smoking, and all delegates are required to adhere to this policy.

Exclusion
HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD reserves the right to refuse access to its facilities and premises where there is reason to believe that a delegate is in breach of these conditions or where a delegate uses threatening, bullying, harassing or disruptive behaviour. HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD will not be liable for any losses or expense (including course fees and consequential damages) incurred by a delegate arising from such an exclusion.

Digital and Online Training Facilities
HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD will provide access to our online training platforms for delegates to attend an online training course.

Charges for online training are per delegate and not per connection. Where we suspect more than one person is using a connection to our digital services, we reserve the right to terminate and block the connection without
refund.

We will publish the minimum software and hardware requirements for accessing our online and digital services. It is the delegates responsibility to check these prior to the course and cancel within the required timescales where these cannot be met.

HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD will not be responsible for failures to connect due to software or hardware requirements not being met, internet dropouts or failures, issues with firewalls or being unable to download the required software due to internal security policies.

Free Webinars and Other Online Services Offered Free of Charge HBBA TRAINING ACADEMY LTD will from time to time offer some online and digital services free of charge.

Where this is the case, we use an email marketing list programme to collect and manage registrations including sending joining instructions. This data will also be added to our main marketing list and used to send further communications after the event where we think the delegate will be interested in the content. Information can be unsubscribed at any time.
